Ellis Rogers' Book on Quadrilles

Ellis' book "The Quadrille" is now out. It's nearly 300 pages plus
appendices of information on quadrilles and their history. The ISBN number
is 0-9546344-0-3. You can also find Ellis' contact details on the quadrille

You may be interested to know that Keith Smith and Green Ginger are soon to
release a CD which contains a combination of music for historical quadrilles
(Hart's Lancers of 1819,  Paine's 1st and 12th sets, 2 historical waltzes)
and several Scottish dances with quadrille figures (Clutha, New Scotia
Quadrille, Quadrille Country Dance, The Queen's Quadrille and The Jubilee
Quadrille).
