Hi all, I was teaching this dance on the same night as the Laird of Milton's Daughter as it is another dance with the corner chain formation. The copy I have has no author not history of the dance. I gather it has something to do with NZ summer school. Does anyone have any information? The dance is not on dance data. Out of interest here is a crib: 1-8 First couple slip (2 Bars) down the middle and cast up behind 3C to face first corners. 9-24 Corners chain as per Laird of Milton's Daughter and finish facing first corners again. 25-32 Hello and goodbye setting. On bars 31 and 32 first couple turh RH to finish in the middle ready to begin anew. On the second repitition, the first couple should turn RH to finish in 3rd place. Music ``tarry a while'' best rod

sorry all I made a boo-boo in that crib Bars 1-8 first couple slip below the 3's (2 bars) cast up around the 3's and turn LEFT hand to face first corners ready for the corners chain. I now know who the person was, but not who devised the dance. rod
