This year Summer Tuesdays are celebrating 50 years of dancing through the Summer in central London. The season of social dances start on Tuesday 10th June 2008 and continue each week until September 16th. They are held at St Columba's Church Hall in Pont Street, London where the dancing starts at 7.30pm and finishes by 10.30pm. Once again we are very pleased to present Frank Reid as the resident band. Entrance cost is £7 on the door which includes light refreshments in the interval and soft drinks throughout the evening. Each week the programme for the next dance will be published on our website and circulated to those registered for the email-a-programme service. They can also be obtained by ringing the London Highland Club dial-a-programme service on 0208 763 8096. We are delighted to welcome dancers of all levels of experience. Although we don't routinely give recaps, any new or lesser known dances will be walked through and there should be plenty of experienced dancers to help with the others. The more dancers we get the better the atmosphere so we would urge everyone to encourage their friends to come along and join us. Further details can be obtained from our website, www.summertuesdays.co.uk, or by contacting Graham or Caroline Hamilton: Tel: 0208 866 2378, email: xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xx If you would like to receive the programmes by email every week then please let me have your email details and I'll add you to the distribution list.
