People were talking about Thomas Wilson books that are kept at the strathspey server and I just wanted to point out a newly discovered resource of _many_ more of the old dance books. The resource is at http://www.archive.org/details/danceman . I could not find any scottish country dancing books specifically, but it has a great many of English country dance books. For example, it has two books by T. Wilson, neither of which seem to be on Anselm's list (at least by title) http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=subject%3A%22Authors%3A%20T%3A%20T.%20Wilson%20%22 And there are other interesting books on that server in a different section. For example: "The Caledonian Tea-Table Miscellany; Choice Songs. at http://www.archive.org/details/1808cttm And also "Reminiscences of Scottish life and character" at http://www.archive.org/details/reminiscencesof00ramsmiss This one might even have some explanations of 'outwith'....... Regards, Alex.
