Nor' Loch

Having tried in vain for months to find an original set of instructions 
for The Nor' Loch I have downloaded the MiniCrib version.

Can anyone who knows the dance please tell me whether the instructions 
for the first 8 bars in Strathspey time, given in the crib as "All 
dance 8 hands round", means "round and back" or "round to the left"?    
The phrasing of the rest of the dance suggests the former, but one 
never knows . .
