Gary -

Are you aware of any variable-speed MP3 players out there? (other than
laptops)  The last time I looked, I think I may have found one, but it was
not portable & it cost about $5000.

Also, any player we get would HAVE to be able to play variable-speed CD as
well (we're not going to ask everyone, including visiting teachers, to start
converting all their CDs to MP3), and tape for those of us who are still
working on converting tapes to CD.
