Dear all, It looks like people liked the RSCDS map I have created on the Frappr website (http://www.frappr.com/rscds). There is nearly 40 members all over the world and the count is growing. However, with growth come the pain. As I did not specify any rules in the beginning, there is a confusion what/who should appear on the map. We have some overlap between individuals and branches, personal names and abstract names and such. This seem to cause some confusion already. I believe the map would be most useful as representative of dancing opportunities all over the world. In practice this would mean: 1) If there is an official website for a branch/group, the webmaster for that website should put it on the map with the shoutout pointing to the website and maybe an image of dancers or branch logo 2) If there is no official website, but there is a branch/group coordinator, they can add themselves with indication of what group they represent. I am not entirely sure what to do when there is many groups for the same branch. I may have to ensure (somehow) that the main branch website shows as the top mark. Any advise is appreciated. I can see that there is a number of personal names on the map. Could those people just double check their entries and add branch/group names to them if that is what they represent. This can be done by removing shoutouts and - after refreshing the page - adding them back in with more complete information. I believe it is also possible to subscribe to the map without having to have a marker on it, so it might be a better option for individuals. Any comments are welcome, publicly and privately. Regards, Alex.
