briefing and "recap"

I am not presuming to answer for Doug; his reply might be different.

In our case, our pattern is to brief the dance in full, then the "recap" 
(inaccurate term perhaps for what we actually do) is to remind the dancers just of 
the first movement, e.g., "Jan Harmon's Reel begins with couples one and two 
dancing half rights and lefts."
