Re: Original publications?

Dear Alan:

Well done for wanting the original instructions for the dances on your
programme.

Roaring Jelly (number 6) and Luckenbooth Brooch (number 28) are both
Glendarroch Sheets. I do not personally have sources for the other two
dances you mention.

You should be able to get the Glendarroch sheets from TACBooks, run by TAC
(Teachers Association of Canada, as you probably know). They may also be
able to help you with Cape Spear and Belfast Hornpipe.

The contact people at present for TAC Books are John and Shirley Lanktree:

                   xxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xx

I know they are hoping to retire, but as far as I know there is no
replacement appointed yet. They are extremely helpful and efficient and
quite honestly I have found this service far superior than any other.

You might also want to consider joining TAC as they provide excellent support
services, such as leaflets, books recordings and manuals, for teachers around
the world and their quarterly magazine is interesting as well.

If you wish to join the Membership Secretary is June Shore:

                   xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxxxx.xxx

Best wishes

Susan Carr (we met at Summer School as New Hall residents. Will you be going
this year?)
