We had a great time Friday night at the regularly scheduled Branch
Social. With Andrew Smith's expert leadership we enjoyed several
energetic local favorite dances - Bauldy Bain's Fiddle, The Whiteadder
Jig and Early Morning Reel (by local dancer Eric Dodson) - we were glad
of the big floor fans augmenting the A/C!

To end the Branch Year with a flourish, an extra Social is planned for
June 26th. This will be a Southern Celebration of the Music Makars' new
CD - Jig for Joy. As the Branch is finishing the fiscal year well in the
black, this event will be _FREE_ to all comers. However, we do have some
Jig for Joy T-shirts which will be sold for $10.00 - this money to go to
the Music Makars to help offset the expense of producing this super CD.
The program and instructions for some of the dances are attached - simple
dances were chosen or substituted as much as possible, as brain-fade
tends to set in during the summer!
