Hi,

Following on from David's comments about the San Francisco branch's programmes 
being very similar for 25 years, there is (has been) a similar situation with 
the university dances and Dunedin (who are originally grown-up Edinburgh Uni) 
dances.  A friend has been compiling statistics over several years, and has
found the repertoire distressingly sameish.

Things are looking up, though.  A note sent round to the societies titled "Oh 
no, not Schiehallion again!" listing the dances which had appeared 5 or more 
times, together with frequency, seems to have been taken to heart, and the 
programmes are varying more now.  At least that's my subjective opinion.
