Norma and I will be at St Andrews (3rd week) with two teenage girls (our granddaughter and her friend, both 16). They're excellent and keen dancers (so much for SCD being a golden-age pastime), but I'm wondering what other kinds of activities might be available during the week for them. Does anyone on the list have experience of going to St Andrews with teens? Do the kids tend to hang out together? Typically, is there ceilidh dancing anywhere near St Andrews on free evenings during summer school? Suggestions welcome. Thanks to all who replied to my question about activities for teens at St Andrews. I do believe the girls will have a good time there. We plan a few days in Edinburgh, the Highlands and the English Lake District before leaving the UK. Any hints on interesting things to see and do? (Sour note: the Tattoo is completely sold out already.) Mike In sunny Wisconsin, enjoying 25 cm of fresh snow and a current temperature of -24 (C, that is).
