I have a friend who is trying to sort out the dance Ailsa Craig (32S3), and
she only has the mini-crib to work from. I don't have the original
instructions either, so while I can take a guess I can't be sure as to the
answer to her question.

Her concern is with the "Progressive Chain" in the last eight bars. She (we
both) saw the term "progressive chain" and immediately thought of the chain
in MacDonald of the Isles. Unfortunately, that does not give a valid
progression. Here is what I came up with under speculation: can anyone
confirm or deny (and correct)?

Starting order: 1 2 3, all on own sides.
bars 1-2: C1 turn RH, while 2L+3L, 2M+3M change on the sides RH. Order 1 3
2.
bars 3-4: 1L+3L, 1M+3M change on the sides LH, while C2 turn LH at the
bottom. Order 3 1 2.
bars 5-6: C3 turn RH at the top, while 1L+2L, 1M+3M change on the sides RH.
Order 3 2 1.
bars 7-8: 3L+2L, 3M+2M change on the sides LH, while C1 turn LH at the
bottom. Order 2 3 1.

thanks in advance
