Ambiguous wording in the instructions...

Bars 13-16: All three couples, joining hands, set to partners, THEN TURN BY
THE RIGHT to the wrong side of the dance, to finish, second couple facing
across the dance, first couple up and third couple down.

Does this mean, after the setting, that...

1. Couples turn RH and end facing for the partial grand chain

or that

2. Couples simply pull RS back and dance a loop ending ready for the same.

Both actually work fine.

The diagram seems to support option 2.

Dear Rob

Option two is the correct version. The devisor, Alec Hay, used this
movement in other dances including Mrs Hay of Angus.
