Happy feet go SCDing they said. It's a lie! Mine have been SCDing for more than 50 years, and they are not happy bunnies. Half an evenings dancing is all they can take on a solid floor these days - until I bought a pair of Bloch trainers called Stealth trainers. Now I can dance all day on a solid suraface and still have happy feet. I don't care what it looks like as long as I can dance.

Bill Clement, one of the early RSCDS rebels never wore our dancing pumps for country dancing, if you ever looked closely, his shoes had very flat heels. Tried them and found that my dancing mileage was quite extended.
