I'll be in Pasadena in early March on business. Any SCD to be had?

I fly in on the afternoon of the 6th (in no fit state to do much) and leave
    before dawn on the 12th.

Check with Anne McBride, who posts here occasionally, as she has, or
once had, a class in South Pasadena (about 500 yds from Pasadena on
Fair Oaks, 100 yds north of the Fair Oaks offramp of the Pasadena
Freeway. Sorry, don´t have more details as I live in Spain (took over
a class there in the 70´s from Mary and David Brandon, when they moved
    to Hawaii).

    Peter,

Several years ago when you were here working on your new telescope with Cal
Tech, I drove you around Pasadena and showed you the sights and you took me to
a delightful dinner -- because there was NO SCD in Pasadena the Easter weekend
    you were here.

Well, sadly to say there is no SCD in Pasadena once again, at least I think.
There is Orange County Branch Dance, at the Anaheim Downtown Community Center
on Sat. March 11th at 7:30 p.m. with taped music. Their web site is
www.rscds-oc.org. A good contact in Orange County would be Bob Harmon 714.774.8535.

Also the same night, March 11th, there is a San Gabriel Valley March Winds
Dance at the Hillcrest Arts Center in Thousand Oaks at 7:30 p.m. The Pasadena
Group is part of the San Gabriel Valley Branch, but Thousand Oaks is quite a
ways from Pasadena. A good contact in San Gabriel Valley is Anthea & Doug
Macdonald at 909.624.9496 or xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx. Doug used to teach a RSCD class at
Caltech on Wed. night, but the college discontinued the classes while there
was remodeling. I don't know whether they have started there again or not.

I don't know whether these dates and contacts are helpful or not. But I hope
    so!
