Chords

March 23, 2006, 5:37 p.m. (Message 44862)

Hi Audrey

Your new CD will obviously be used for teaching as well as for dance
parties. When teaching it will be very laborious for the dancers to
keep moving back and forth each time you start the dance for different
couples.
If, while teaching, your teacher says "just stay where you are on the
opposite side and ignore the extra chord" then WHY have it there at all.
That very fact proves it is not necessary. This is my very strong
feeling.

Also, someone else might wish to use a good piece of music for a
different dance, on occasion, but won't be able to if it has two chords.

All the best with your project.
Simon
