Peter, 

Several years ago when you were here working on your new telescope with Cal 
Tech, I drove you around Pasadena and showed you the sights and you took me to 
a delightful dinner -- because there was NO SCD in Pasadena the Easter weekend 
you were here. 

Well, sadly to say there is no SCD in Pasadena once again, at least I think. 
There is Orange County Branch Dance, at the Anaheim Downtown Community Center 
on Sat. March 11th at 7:30 p.m. with taped music. Their web site is 
www.rscds-oc.org. A good contact in Orange County would be Bob Harmon 714.774.8535.

Also the same night, March 11th, there is a San Gabriel Valley March Winds 
Dance at the Hillcrest Arts Center in Thousand Oaks at 7:30 p.m. The Pasadena 
Group is part of the San Gabriel Valley Branch, but Thousand Oaks is quite a 
ways from Pasadena. A good contact in San Gabriel Valley is Anthea & Doug 
Macdonald at 909.624.9496 or xxxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx. Doug used to teach a RSCD class at 
Caltech on Wed. night, but the college discontinued the classes while there 
was remodeling. I don't know whether they have started there again or not.

II'll be in Pasadena in early March on business. Any SCD to be had?

I fly in on the afternoon of the 6th (in no fit state to do much) and leave
before dawn on the 12th.
