new dance

I was interested in the comment about the dancer who wanted to pass left
shoulder when moving on to the next corner. Is it possible that the person
was keeping hands held too long in the turn? I have seen lots of people,
when dancing three right hands across (1M with 2s, above, and 1L with 3s
below, say), followed by three left hands across the other way, trying
(and suceeding at it!) to pass left shoulders in the middle as they change
to the other wheel, and I think that could almost always be avoided by dropping
hands in good time.

I liked the sound of the dance; will look forward to trying it out.
