I have just fixed a bug in the user registration code on my.strathspey.org.
People who have found that they could not register accounts during the last
few weeks may now try again with greater chance of success. Sorry for any
inconvenience caused by this.
[Note that this invitation does not apply to the idiot would-be comment
spammers who keep bombarding the site with hundreds of inane account
registration requests even though there is currently no way they could
actually *submit* any spam to the site. You can take your crud elsewhere as
far as I'm concerned, and I've taken steps to ensure that you don't get to
register accounts in the first place. Any suspicious-looking accounts that do
make it into the database will be terminated with extreme prejudice.]
Also, people who don't remember their password should go to
http://my.strathspey.org/accounts/password/reset/ to get that sorted. I'll add
a note to that effect to the login form, too.

In this financial world of deceit, Germans are natives on a protected island
who have not been inoculated against the virus carried by visitors. The same
instincts that allowed them to trust the Wall Street bond salesmen also
allowed them to trust the French when they promised there would be no
bailouts, and the Greeks when they swore that their budget was balanced.
