strathspey Archive: Best Set in the Hall

I have been trying to get some more background on the tune Danse de Chez Nous which is one of the name tunes for Best Set in the Hall.  My 2 knowledgeable sources do not have any information.  It's a nice tune., good for any dance.

I may have found more information about the tune, known as Chez Nou and It is quite possible that it emigrated to Canada from Northumberland.  Will know more in a couple of weeks. If  tune is a good one, it will travel.
