I still think that Weasel reels are the sensible sibling of syncopated double crossover reels of 3 as found in "Losing My Mind". (Only kidding! I think Weasel reels are great fun. Double syncopated etc is too physically hard and fast for a safe ballroom setting.)

Only in the respect that it contains weasel reels, oh and 1/2 figures of 8. DNA of a mouse and a man ;-)

The interesting part imo is the end.

My reading of both instructions makes me think in "The White Rabbit" the men
reel down the middle whereas in "The Laird of Dalnair" the men reel up the
middle.

Is this not wrong to call them weasel reels?
We had a similar corruption with "tandem reels" when the Society placed
their interpretation on them.

Surely if the figure is different it should be called by a different name?
