Hello, snowed in at present so trying to solve a few dance problems.
Monday Night Reel, this dance was unpopular locally because in the first 8 bars the figure danced by the men were not symmetrical with the ladies figure whereas the following 24 bars were perfectly symmetrical, however , I've recently seen it danced with the first 8 bars modified which looked great & very much liked. I don't know whether the deviser John Rigby is still around but wondered if there had been an agreed modification to this dance.
