This week, we really conquered "Muckle Burn" -- by dancing it as a strathspey.
Two spey steps got us from one end of the set to the other in time to form
up the lines, geometrically correct, with more elegance and less hilarity.
Are we the only dancers to have learnt this interesting dance?
What would Ian Barbour think of our conversion? As a spey, we shall
undoubtedly keep it in our repertory; as a jig, certainly not.
