I'm singing the praises of the Society; on the 24 June I received Book 43 (actually I received all the copies for Branch members) so at the class on the 25 June I taught
the reel The Royal Yacht Brittania, it's 40 bars and devised by John Drewry. The CD for book 43 isn't yet available so I had to use suitable music and chose the recording for David Russell Hall. Everyone thought it is a super dance and will be a "hit". The instructions in the book are 100% perfect;
next Wednesday I am going to teach another four of the dances from the book and look forward to it, they all look good to me.
By way of interest I'm wondering if Wirral Branch was amongst the first to have a class doing dances from the new book.
Anyhow - well done the Society, I think we have a winner.
