An acronym finder turned up the following :

Senior Citizen Discount

Sudden Cardiac Death

but didn't have the _right_ answer.

It did correctly identify RSCDS, though...

Here at a German university people need to differentiate between that =

and `RCDS', which is the `Ring Christlich-Demokratischer Studenten' (the
student arm of the Christian-Democrat (conservative) party).

This is nothing compared to mobile communications, the field where there
are acronyms for some acronyms that are apparently too long.

Well, in a few years I'll qualify for the SCD at an SCD event and, when I go
to that Great Dance Hall in the Sky, I won't mind if it's by an SCD while
dancing a powerful strathspey.
