You're absolutely right. Thanks for spotting this. I've fixed it

I've also incorporated Eric's suggestion that the 2s and 3s should
set one bar facing the person with whom they have just crossed, and
one bar facing the person with whom they are about to cross.

We do something like that in J.B. Milne. It is probably incorrect (since it
reads to set with only one couple), but it sure(ly sic) makes for a lot of
fun. I always enjoy a bit of sic(k sic) humor.
