Auckland Region just had another annual 3 day Labour Weekend School. This
time the organisers brought out John Taylor and Andy Imbrie. John and Andy
were out here a couple of years ago with a Ken McFarlane tour group and made
quite an impression. Well, they were wonderful, a couple of great guys. One
of the Auckland clubs "Royal Oak" held their 30th anniversary ball on the
Sat night, 250-260 dancers attended. Sunday nights Ceildh, 250 people at
that gathering. Andy and John are a couple of great musicians who join in
the fun and help make an occasion something very special, thanks guys. We
also had Duncan Smith (Australia) teaching, another really nice guy and
It's so nice to hear that others have shared in the exhilaration of
a superb gathering and the following euphoria. This Scottish Dancing
lark does produce some happy moments, does'nt it ?
