I agree with Oberdan concerning briefing. Hands are an important part
(to me anyway). Having taught deaf people who cannot lip-read I
cultivated quite a long list of hand signals for teaching and briefing.
I have been told that it does help also to "see" the dance for those
with hearing as I brief. One day I am going to publish a "pillings" on
hand language for the deaf and hard of hearing dancers!!!...One day....
