Apart from Golden Pheasant which in our neck of the woods merely
loses an 'h', one of my favourites is that well known 5 couple
dance "Wheelbarrow Burn".

"The White Cockup" comes on our programs occasionally.

We sometimes have 'The Revolving White Detergent', 'Mrs Stuart's
Linoleum' and 'Bratach Banana'. I'm sure there are more that we use - I
just can't think of them right now.

Then (pace Laurel & Hardy) there's Fine Mess (aka Fife Ness), for the
confusion that frequently happens during the dance, and of course the
one that pays tribute to all those bibulous monarchs: Reel of the Royal
Sots.

We used to use "D.O.P." which, of course stands for "Damn Old Perth".

The first was fondly named by the local full certificate class several
years ago as "Ruptured Duck".
The local college crowd about the same time was partial to "Wheelbarrow Arson".

I've heard it called The Brass Spuggy (= sparrow).

Oh, what the heck, I'll join in on the fun -- I'm sad to say my dancers
re-christened the beautiful "Wisp of Thistle" to Wimps of Gristle. I guess I
did have it in the Demonstration for a little too much time...
