I respectfully beg to differ. On my CDs, I have various recordings of
Hebridean Weaving Lilts that are 80 bars long. Not that it helps any in
this case, of course :^)
Maybe, while we have William on the line, this thread could be
considered a plea for recordings of unusual bar numbers. Cairn Edward or
the Princess Royal, anybody? Also, the other day we were looking for a
4x40 bar hornpipe and didn't find one -- I ended up playing the music
myself!
