Yes, Kent, the PG was taught in Scotland to us kids at Paisley Grammar School
in the 1940s and both Angeline and The Road to the Isles were used.
It is a simple line dance done in Greek (Israeli?)
arm-on-both-neighbours'-shoulders or waist, or linked-arms geometry.
It's so simple that it's boring after a minute or so, but for us age 7 or
thereabouts it gave us confidence that we could follow a rythmn as well
as could the girl on either side. Maybe more young boys should be introduced
to it before they become all complexed up about dancing.
