>Perhaps those who are busy creating dances in ABBA format should begin to
write the music to accompany the dance.

Since I am incapable of writing music worth listening to (I might just
manage AAAA!),
I should very much like to hear from a composer who has created tunes with
12-bar phrasing.

I have a couple of dances where 1st couple dances a 12-bar figure (or
combination of figures) then repeats the same movements (in a different
position or with the other corners). Although it is quite possible to dance
these 24 bars as three 8-bar phrases, it would feel far more satisfying
with two 12-bar phrases of music.

Any ideas, anyone?

Yours,
Martin,
