I'd say it's just in between 1/2 and 3/4...
Considering that the two men start on the center line. After 1/2 turn
you would end on the center line again, 3/4 would bring the exactly
between positions 2 and 3, thus, just to far.
...but this is to some extend nit-picking, off course ;^)
It gets funny if the men try to turn a bit more than 3/4 ending up in
the positions their partners try to be in to start the half ladies'
chain at the same time...
Make sure you are wide awake when dancing it, then I think it is good
fun. (There is not much time to recover if it falls apart.)
