I also like it as 3/2...the 3/4 dots make it more of a smalzy waltz
How are you coming along?
Will try to come by within a few days, if it is ok with you.

Just change the time signature to 3/2. No problem.

Subject: Re: 3/2 dances
Norma and I wrote this a couple of years ago. It's for a longways set of as
many couples as will, or it can be danced in a big circle of couples (men on the
inside, women on the outside). If so danced, couples will need to count off as
1s and 2s, and the first four bars go CW. The recommended music is 'Flow
Gently, Sweet Afton;' the traveling step is the open 3/2 step referred to
earlier in this thread (not a step-and-close waltz step).
Flow Gently 2C
N & M Briggs, 2002
1-8 1C DOWN THE MIDDLE AND UP
9-16 1C & 2C ALLEMANDE
17-20 1C & 2C CROSS WITH PARTNER “Duke of Kent” style: with RH joined,
balance, and cross (W dancing under the joined R arms)
21-24 FOUR HANDS AROUND
25-26 All DANCE into the center to form a long line, taking RH with
partner, LH with neighbor
27-28 BALANCE
29-32 All TURN PARTNER RH 1-3/4 to own side (1C may remain in the middle
RH joined if repeating the dance)
