If all of Chris's points are correct, and there is no plan to develop
a correspondence course, then Unit 0 still leaves isolated folks out
in the cold. It's all very well for a Branch to run these classes -
but the nearest Branch for us is over 300 miles away. And the nearest
other classes in either direction are over three hours away.
In our case, I could potentially teach Unit 0 (assuming I pass the
exam this summer), but what about situations where there is no one
else but the one person who has "inherited" a class in an isolated
area and wants to keep it going? There were three or four people like
that in my Prelim candidate class.
