Definitely retain hands. How long the right hand is retained for is...more a matter of debate, but the left hands should certainly be held to turn into position.

A question about the Tournée

Does first couple retain left hands to go into the "butterfly" turns of bars 5-7 or do they drop hands and the end of 4 and rejoin on 5?
