As I sit watching the snow fall (about 20 cm so far today) a thought
occurs to me: that there is some wise person out there in
Strathspey-land who knows the origin(s) of the dances in the
Miscellany. The only clue I have is that in the foreword to MMM-I Miss
Milligan wrote "All dances in this Volume were originally selected by me
. . ." From where?
