Unfortunately it doesn't work for aol.de as they doesn't except the
expression "footer" and I couldn't find out (so far) which might be the German
expression.

Not long ago I mentioned on the Strathspey my annoyance at having an
advertisement line added to my AOL e-mails.
Sylvia Miskoe (_xxxxxxx@xxx.xxx_ (mailto:xxxxxxx@xxx.xxx) ) was kind enough
to e-mail me privately that there is a fix for this from AOL. I inquired
with AOL, and indeed there is.
For anyone on AOL (or if you know someone who is), here's the very easy
fix:
Go to Keyword, type in "footer," and then uncheck (do the British say
"untick"???) the box for a message "footer" at the bottom of each e-mail
and
"save."
Trusting that this message will now arrive to all worldwide sans "footer"!
