I know Jim is big enough to look after himself but I think he would
class at least one of those particular dances as 'RSCDS' dances
albeit not run by the RSCDS, ie - the one I am talking about where I
met Ben - did comprise Scottish Country dances and not a single 'ceilidh'
dance and certainly no hands behind backs while reeling!
As has been mentioned before, SCD takes on a variety of flavours here
in Scotland.
