Would the devisers of the dances included in the latest Society 'leaflet' advise those of us without access to a musician what recorded music is suitable for their dances?
I have found (via DanceData) that "French Air" is recorded by Muriel Johnstone in "Anstruther Lassies" (8 x 40 bars). Is this okay, Ian, or can you recommend something more suitable which is not quite so long?
There are a number of 64 bar S + 64 bar reel medleys recorded, but, which one is the best for "A Trip To Lorient", Ian?
I have found (via DanceData) that "Craigieford" is recorded by Colin Dewar in "Findlater Castle". Is this okay for "Sueno's Stone", Neil?
