I would point Coletta to the Riverdance discussions we've had in the recent
past. Surely, in Ireland, the producers could have found very accomplished
step dancers who could have done a very good job in choreographing and
performing for the Eurovision Song contest. Who did they hire to
choreograph and feature? A
couple of Americans... Perhaps the word has gotten around that these Americans
are not so tied to tradition as to enable them to provide a fresh new look to an
old tradition. ;-) After all, it's what Americans do best -- change the
world to suit us. :)
