A shout after ceilidh callers (apologies to the strathspey list - we do dance SCD as well, but i am in trouble in the ceilidh area)

Hi to you all!

Annual reminder ;-) - Scottish ceilidh callers (we also dance SCD but not at
ceilidhs) are always very WELCOME in Estonia.

I am aware that this list is very international, that is even better - maybe
there are German ceilidhs ;-) or Dutch ceilidhs ;-) just to mention a few -
everybody who can call us a dance evening - we are really looking forward to
having you with us for a ceilidh. Our ceilidh crowd is young and energetic,
we are having hard time to get older people joining in but we hope to get
them as well.

Please do get in touch if you like to travel and can call a ceilidh for us.
We cannot refund travel expenses but would love to provide for accommodation
and show you around.

Our regular monthly ceilidh series in Tallinn has been running since June
2005 without a break. People are interested in Scottish dancing and we have
had great people over calling for us. Also Iain Cathcart band played in
Tallinn Ceilidh last May! We have had fabulous time. Oh, and Pia was here
for SCD classes - a brilliant week filled with dance - great memories! - and
also she called a ceilidh that was a highlight of dance evenings for many.

This summer we had several people over from England for e-ceilidh, workshops
are planned on English Courtyard Dances and we expect an Irish caller for
irish-ceili soon. But right now it seems that we are in shortage of Scottish
ceilidh callers... honestly.

There are quite reasonably priced flights if you are prepared to travel a
little longer and see another great town beside Tallinn (with Ryan-air via
Riga) ;-) Maybe arrange a ceilidh there as well - but that I am not in
charge of - I know that they celebrate Burns Supper there, so there must be
a Scottish community there as well.

I really would appreciate if you could forward the message to the people you
think might be interested.

Cheers!
Eike
