Dutch Crossing. Was: Eight-couple dances

I"ve done Dutch Crossing a few times. The first time was with Nic
Broadbridge teaching while Aiden Broadbridge and RP Hale played fiddle/piano. Nic was
using a trad 16 bar notey Scottish Reel that drove the dancers. It is much
too long to do skip/change, unless you are a 20-something fitness nut. We
walked with great enthusiasm. The 2nd time was to a fairly standard SCD reel
and again it was fine.
