as far Ias I know, it's circles, not hands across. Lovely dance! Flows beautifully...

Our group danced From the Broomielaw, devised by Anna Holden in 1983, this evening. However, we had two sets of instructions and there were some differences. Which is the correct set of instructions?
Both sets are the same except for bars 5 thru 8 and 13 thru 16. In one set, the dancers dance 4 hands round to the left (5 thru 8) and 4 hands round to the right (13 thru 16). In the second set of instructions the dancers do Right Hands across once round (5 thru 8) and Left Hands across once round (13 thru 16).
We tried it both ways, and either way works - but we would prefer to follow the instructions as devised by Anna Holden. So, does someone have a definitive answer for me?
