If you haven't purchased it yet, "Old Favourites and Odd Couples" with
Catherine Fraser and Duncan Smith is a wonderful addition to your dance CDs. The
simplicity of fiddle and piano make for a very clear sound, accurate and
steady on the beat. Catherine is a fine fiddler who plays with obvious joy.
Duncan, on piano, is no less the musician, keeping the rhythm steady and enjoyable
to dance to. They play many favourites, tunes and dances.
This will surely be one of my favourites for classes. I give a thumbs-up
for these down-uda' performers. Great work folks!
