The connection with Herstmonceux is that while Gordon Sparks and his
wife Sandra have been active members of Kingston branch, they also
visited "the castle" for several years, as Gordon was a visiting
professor from Queens University.
They have been part of an annual Burns Supper in Sussex for years,
teaching the students enough about SCD to have a dance ot two at the
event.
