Alan,

Could I mention that having finished a French meal with seven
different cheeses and appropriate wine and started dancing at
10:00 pm, my leaving the Sunday dance before the 1:00 am finish
had very little to do with a lack of re-caps.

I agree, however, that, given the number of less experienced
dancers at Dijon, recaps would have helped. Even with WGB
diagrams and a walk through, I found myself unofficial re-
capper to most sets I was with which did lead to the MC being
ignored.. One wee problem though - some recaps would need to
have been in French, German and English. After the previous night,
Diamond Jubilee will never be the same again.
