Help please folks:
I have a mostly-written dance in my head, with the progression up the ladies' side but down the
men's side (as in Caddam Wood and Nighean Donn (and apologies Peter if I've spelt that wrongly).
However, I don't want to change partners each time through, so I want to start with 1st lady and
3rd lady in each other's places. (It's a 3 couple dance, with 2C as dancing couple.) Changing
places on a 2nd chord isn't very practical because 2L does not need to move, so can they form sets
in place? I asked our class teacher last night & his immediate reaction was "How would you count
the lines?" but I don't think that's a major difficulty. Any suggestions/opinions would be
welcome.
Thanks,
Helen
