Greetings!

To answer Iain's question. When the decision was taken that all Society
dances should have music in digital format (CD at this stage), the original
masters were reviewed by a team including musicians for technical quality.
Regrettably, some of the original recordings were not of a standard that
they could be satisfactorily re-mastered and transferred. It was (and
remains) a purely technical judgement and whether the band was fiddle or
accordion led was not a factor in the decision to re-record.
